Doodles, the well-known NFT brand, has officially released its native token $DOOD on the Solana blockchain, marking a major milestone in its evolution from a collectible project to a broader entertainment ecosystem.
The token claim is now available on the official Doodles website, with leading crypto exchanges like Bybit, Binance Alpha, Gate, KuCoin, and MEXC already onboard for trading support. More exchange listings are expected in the coming days.
Alongside the launch, Doodles introduced DreamNet, a decentralized AI-driven platform that allows users to build characters and immersive worlds. If other users or developers utilize these creations in games, stories, or animations, creators earn DOOD tokens in return.
One of the first DOOD-integrated experiences is a social game called “Lord of the Files,” where players compete in a survival-style office scenario on X (formerly Twitter). The winner walks away with 500,000 DOOD tokens, making the experience both playful and rewarding.
“DOOD will fuel everything we build—whether it’s AI storytelling, gaming, or product integrations,” said Doodles CEO Scott Martin. “Lord of the Files is just the beginning of what’s possible.”
DOOD Tokenomics: A Community-Centric Model
$DOOD has a total supply of 10 billion tokens, distributed across several key sectors to support long-term growth and decentralization:
-
30% allocated to the Doodles community
-
25% dedicated to an ecosystem fund
-
17% reserved for the core team
-
13% given to “New Blood,” likely future contributors or talent
-
10% for liquidity
-
5% retained by the company
While the token debuted on Solana, Doodles has confirmed plans to bring DOOD to the Base network in the near future.
A Vision for the Future: Imagination Meets Ownership
According to Martin, launching DOOD isn’t just about creating a currency—it’s about reshaping how fans interact with digital art, games, and storytelling.
“We’ve always wanted to build worlds where people can both escape and connect,” he said. “By launching $DOOD on Solana, we’re giving our community a chance to truly own a piece of those worlds.”
Doodles: From NFTs to a Full-Fledged Ecosystem
Launched in October 2021, the Doodles collection consists of 10,000 hand-drawn cartoon NFTs. Despite market fluctuations, it remains one of the most recognized NFT brands. Currently, the floor price stands at 3.37 ETH (around $8,000), with over $4 million in trading volume recorded since May 9, according to PRIME’s Data Dashboard.
